Anthony Rath studied hairdressing at the Pretoria Technical College and completed his apprenticeship and qualified as a hairdresser in 1988 while working at Salon Chris in Colbyn, Pretoria.
While at college Anthony met Ronni and after three years at Salon Chris, Anthony joined Ronni at Inter Hair Design in Waterglen, Pretoria.
After just one month they bought a fifty percent share in the Waterglen salon and eighteen months later, purchased the remaining 50%. They changed the name and Proline Hair Design was born. Proline Hair Design stands for ‘professional line of hairdressing design’ with their motto being ‘professionalism, service, excellence.’
Another eighteen months later, in 1992, Proline Hair Design acquired the salon, Shear Success, situated in the Pick n’ Pay Hypermarket, Faerie Glen, Pretoria.
They never looked back and the Proline Hair Design group has become an ever-evolving powerhouse in the hairdressing industry in Pretoria all these years…
